Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 May 2026
These Terms govern your use of the website dutchruling.com and the services provided by Dutch Ruling ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms.
Who we are
Dutch Ruling is a service operated by a business registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK 93456212), based in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
What we provide
A free online eligibility checker that gives an indicative assessment of your likely eligibility for the Dutch 30% ruling, and optional paid services: Expert Check, Free 15-Minute Call, and Application Service.
Not official advice
We are an independent service. We are not affiliated with the Belastingdienst or any government body. Our eligibility checker and services provide general information and professional assessment. They do not constitute formal legal or tax advice, and they do not replace advice from a qualified tax adviser where your situation requires it.
No guarantee of outcome
Eligibility for the 30% ruling is decided solely by the Belastingdienst. We can assess your case, prepare documentation, and submit an application, but we cannot guarantee approval. Our fees are payment for the service performed, not for a particular outcome.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for giving accurate and complete information. Our assessments and services rely on what you provide. Incorrect or incomplete information may lead to an incorrect result or a rejected application.
Pricing and payment
Service prices are shown on the website. Payment is due at the time of purchase. Prices include VAT where applicable.
Right of withdrawal and refunds
Refund terms, including your right of withdrawal for digital services under EU consumer law, are set out in our Refund Policy.
Intellectual property
All content on the website, including the eligibility tool, text, and assessments, is owned by us and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the site or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
Changes
We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
